【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiestherequirementsforthedesignandconstructionofequipment,intendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres,protectedbythetypeofprotection:Controlofignitionsource"b".ThisdocumentsupplementstherequirementsinEN13463-1,thecontentsofwhichalsoapplyinfulltoequipmentconstructedinaccordancewiththisdocument.Equipmentconformingwiththerelevantclausesofthisdocumentmeettherequirementsforthefollowingcategories:—EquipmentGroupⅠCategoryM2-thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourcearisingfromsevereoperatingconditions,inparticulararisingfromroughhandlingandchangingenvironmentalconditionsinmines;—EquipmentGroupⅡcategory3-thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourceinnormaloperation;—EquipmentGroupⅡcategory2Gor2D-thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourcearisingasaresultofforeseeablemalfunctions;—EquipmentGroupⅡcategory1Gor1D-thatdoesnotcontainanignitionsourceinnormaloperation,orunderforeseeablemalfunctions,orunderraremalfunctions.NOTETherequirementsforGroupⅠ,CategoryM1equipment,aregiveninEN50303,whichspecifiestherequirementsforbothelectricalandnon-electricalequipmentThistypeofprotectioncanbeusedtoproducecategory3equipmentwhichotherwisewouldhaveanignitionsourceinnormaloperation,i.e.itisnotabletoconformwithEN13463-1ThetypeofignitionprotectiondescribedinthestandardcanbeusedeitheronitsownorincombinationwithothertypesofignitionprotectiontomeettherequirementsforequipmentofGroupⅠcategoryM2,orGroupⅡcategories1,2and3dependingontheignitionhazardassessmentinEN13463-1.Thisdocumentdoesnotapplyto:—controldeviceswhicharenotintendedtoprovideignitionprotection;—theignitionprotectionofelectricalequipment;—equipmentshutdownsystems,initiatedbyflammablegasdetectors,explosiveatmospheredetectors,carbonmonoxide,fire,orsmokedetectors.NOTEThisisbecausethisdocumentdealsonlywiththedetectionandcontrolofimpendingignitionsourcesinequipment,notthedetectionofexplosiveatmospheressurroundingit.Ignitionprotectionsystemsconformingtotherelevantclausesofthisdocumentarenotintendedtobeautonomousprotectivesystems.
